Roasted Coffee Beans

Our coffee roaster’s purpose is to create a coffee experience of the highest possible quality. They begin by purchasing premium green coffee beans from farms that practice traditional old world cultivation methods – growing coffee in naturally shaded areas where no pesticides and fertilizers are used. They have found that the best and most complex coffees, the ones used in their blends, come from small farms that grow coffee in this manner. Coffee from these growers commands a premium price in the marketplace, a price our roaster pays. All coffee is purchased above Fair Trade Value to ensure good wages and working conditions for farm employees.

Tea

Barnes Watson Tea

We are as serious about our tea as we are our coffee. Many tea companies were tested, but only one could live up to the standards demanded, Barnes & Watson Fine Teas. Barnes & Watson Fine Teas has won 15 awards from the World Tea Championships between 2005 and 2009. The owner is a founding member of The Specialty Tea Institute and travels the world seeking out world class tea.
